A NOMINATION AND A REALLY BIG SHOW
The Clydes got big news today: We’ve been nominated for Best Pop Band in the 2012 Asbury Music Awards, which honor top musicians in New Jersey each year. Click here for a complete ballot. The news comes right before another big day: We’re set to make our debut at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park at 8. Exciting indeed. Thank you to the voters, and see you at the Pony.

POP-BREAK FESTIVAL, PART 2
We just learned we’re set to headline another night in Pop-Break.com‘s ongoing Shipwrecked At The Shore Showcase. The entertainment website has been holding an ongoing rock ‘n’ roll festival since the winter at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, N.J. We played our first show on Feb. 16. OUR ONE-YEAR AND RADIO DEBUT
It was a year ago tonight when four lads called The Clydes took the stage at the iconic Court Tavern in New Brunswick, N.J., for our first show. The crowd was packed into that gloriously dingy basement. The energy was palpable. And a year later, The Clydes are as strong as ever. We’re a week away from a show at the famed Maxwell’s in Hoboken. We’re recording new songs. We’re set to play Philadelphia in June.
And today, tune into the 3 p.m. hour on 90.3 The Core FM to hear our first single, ‘Trigger Finger,’ make its radio debut.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. Year No. 2 is going to be killer.

A REALLY BIG SHOW
The Clydes are set to open a show for U.K. alt-rockers The Dunwells, who are touring the U.S. for the first time and drawing big buzz. Oscar-winning filmmaker and former Rolling Stone writer Cameron Crowe recently tweeted about them. And their producer? John Porter, the former bassist of Roxy Music and producer of The Smiths.
The show is Tuesday, March 6 at The Saint in Asbury Park, N.J. The Clydes go on at 7:30 p.m. Click here for tickets.
